MyDay Multifocal is a daily disposable contact lens for presbyopia. Instead of treating each lens as an isolated optical system, the Binocular Progressive System is fitted to coordinate the eyes across distance, intermediate, and near tasks. Three ADD ranges—Low, MED, and High—allow the prescribed profile to follow the wearer’s near-vision requirement. The product is not toric and has no cylinder or axis fields.
Material Performance Without a Surface Coating
The stenfilcon A silicone hydrogel contains 54% water. Aquaform Technology binds water within the lens material, creating natural wettability without a separate coating or wetting treatment. Oxygen transmissibility is 100 Dk/t at -3.00D. The lens has an 8.4 mm base curve and 14.2 mm diameter.
MyDay Multifocal also includes Class 2 UV blocking. This does not replace UV-blocking glasses because contacts leave areas of the eye and surrounding tissue uncovered.
