Torics contact lenses for Astigmatism
Biofinity Toric lenses are astigmatic monthly lenses made by Cooper Vision, a well-known contact lens manufacturer.
The most recent generation of lenses are made from an innovative silicone-hydrogel material and have an ultra-thin and flexible structure
Continuous mode - you can wear one pair of lenses for up to a month without taking them out before bed. This removes the need for you to use specialized care fluids.
For astigmatism – the lenses are designed to correct astigmatism. They have been improved with an additional stabilization system and a higher degree of hydration, specifically designed with this vision defect in mind.
An additional stabilization system - Due to this, the lenses quickly adapt to the shape and individual parameters of the eye and remain stable on its surface throughout the duration of wear. There will be no curling or falling out.
Beneficial oxidizing properties - enriching each lens with a silicone monomer resulted in extremely favorable oxidizing properties, which allows the cornea to have constant access to oxygen and the eyes to be healthier and less susceptible to infections.
Aquaform Comfort Science material - Because of it, Biofinity Toric lenses have velvety softness, smoothness, and an ideal level of hydration. This, in turn, is directly related to the high comfort of both the application and long-term use of glasses.
Biofinity Toric is the most recent generation of astigmatic lenses made of Comifilcon A silicone-hydrogel material. Aquaform Comfort Science material technology was used in their production, as with other Biofinity lenses, which directly affects the fact that the lenses are soft, silky, and perfectly hydrated. The silicone monomer used is completely oxygen permeable. As a result, the hydrophilic and silicone components allowed for the creation of a perfectly moisturized material that retains water evenly throughout the lens.
Biofinity Toric lenses are also modern in defying the rule of the inverse proportion of hydration to oxygen permeability. Increasing hydration has traditionally resulted in a decrease in oxygen permeability. Increased hydration had no effect on the Oxygen Transmittance Index in these lenses.
To provide clear vision, Toric lenses must be stable on the eye. Biofinity Toric lenses have a special stabilization system that allows them to fit the eye quickly and stay in a stable position throughout their use.
Biofinity Toric contact lenses are also known as Eyeoxy Duality Toroidal, Ultraflex Premier Toric, Medivue Premier Toric, and iWear Oxygen Astigmatism lenses (formerly Iwear XR Supreme Toric).
Biofinity Toric lenses are intended for astigmatic patients who value the ease and comfort of changing lenses once a month. These lenses pose no risk of infection or eye damage, so they can be used in this manner without concern.
Biofinity Toric lenses can be worn for a month without being removed at night, after which they do not need to be cared for. However, suppose you only wear them during the day. In that case, you must clean them with lens solution at the end of the day and then leave them in the solution container for at least several hours before putting them back on. We recommend liquids from the Clean Active family or any other lens liquid available in our store for the care of Biofinity Toric lenses.
